Title: Photos page added to my site, with BSIAB2 photos
Post by: Marcos - Munky on September 20, 2004, 11:21:43 AM
I uploaded two photos of my BSIAB2 in my site. I took small photos, because my camera don't have a good quality, and is faster to open too.

Hey, that looks pretty good!

How did you get the blue writing on the box?

And is that a black stomp switch or a hole, I cant tell with my eyesight..

It's a black stomp switch. I found these small boxes some time ago (I believe two years ago), they works great for effects. The blue writing is made of adhesive paper. The red color is adhesive tape too. It fixed in the box without problem. Since I don't search for a professional look for my boxes (but I search for professional sound :P), I use cheap ways to decorate the boxes. I used a logo made in a piece of paper and fixed with transparence adhesive tape some times, works great if you want to go cheap and not too professional.

Yeah, I use stick-on paper letters, then I use a lot of laquer over them. Or I sometimes use that clear stuff you can put in your printer and glue it to the box.

You can always just sand the box & draw on it w/ an etch resistant pen

Great Job Marcos!!! :D  :D  :D  :D  :D

"The first DIY pedal I ever saw, had wires hanging outside of the case, it looked like a mess of wires with potentiometers hanging out of one side onto the floor, but it sounded great!!!!"

Sound is the most important, but yet your pedals look great too!  Keep up the good work!

Peace!

Thanks a lot. I never saw a DIY effect yet, but I remember the first one that I built. I still have the board and the original "enclosure" for it, I think I will rebuild it only for fun, then I can post some pics of it too.
