I've seen several effects where they use what seem to be the "blue" switches (like the ones Aron sells) but they are PCB mount. Does anyone know where/who sells these?
Are builders just using bigger pads and drilling bigger holes and just using the normal switches with solder lugs? :?

Now that I see exactly what you mean, those do appear to be the ones that both Aron and Steve sell. I tought you meant actual PCB mount, as in posts or spikes as opposed to solder lugs.
Those look like the standard 3PDT switches to me as well. When you lay out your board, just make sure you make those holes big enough to accept the solder lugs on the bottom of the switch. But don't make them too big, or else you'll melt the switches or at least waste a ton of solder getting them in place.
Your board should be slotted to accept the switch pins. That way there will be mechanical support for the sides of the pins, less chance of the solder joints cracking. Since that's kinda hard to do at home, I'd suggest using a drill bit size that just accepts the pins with some resistance.
The carlin Switch is more small pins than fulton switch.... :)
