Title: [TUBE] - Allpass for Tube-Phaser

Cascade 4 of these:

and automize "r":

perfect building block for a "Grand Stone" (Maxolith) Tube-Phaser(TM)

... you mean Thermo-Vibe (C)

Interesting idea, direct coupling is used by few tube circuit designers nowadays - HiWatt made use of it in their preamps ... I used it in my TweedReverb conversion for BF/SF Reverb amps to couple Reverb to the Bassman preamp ...

In this pseudo "all-pass" case, by loading the follower node with a value (r) eventually less than the bias resistance value of the stage (2R) you'll start getting noticeable non-linear distortion ... assuming you'd go that far it would produce lots of colouration at extreme phase shifts - a cool possibility ... the other nice thing here is you don't have to equalize the driving point impedances to get good cancelling with this arrangement ...

of course, I do the shift differently, using less triodes...

... say, you need doll feet syndrome to operate that thing !

for young adult bigfooters,
we also offer this extended enclosure floor model (as opposed to the AMP-TOP box):
(4 12AX7s in slightly smaller footprint than the famous E-H "diamond" box).

The Wahbrato (as the name implies) offers Vibrato,
and the unheard Modulated Wah
plus Phased Wah and Wah`d Phase,
additionally to the 6-stage pure tube Phasing...

[currently not in production]

see page 2, 1st column, line 60...

then there`s always that other circuit (newer)...:

That's some cool shit man !!

... looks like it runs on Propane

would be nice to hear your take/details on the PSU's used in them bladerunners ...

Here`s another one (http://v3.espacenet.com/origdoc?DB=EPODOC&IDX=US2845598&F=0&QPN=US2845598),
with "automized" (voltage-controlled) variable phaseshift from Cincinnati/Ohio...

Mini-toggles that close to a stompswitch ?!?

Hmmm....

perfectly OK for the designer-operated prototype...

You missed the improved, later version?:

Okay, gotcha... :icon_wink:

I was wondering, hmmm, how many people have stepped on those and broken them??

Haha, never mind... :icon_wink:

If you no longer need the prototype sling it my way - I could pick it up this week - I'm currently touring through the Netherlands and Germany! I have my tube pedals with me too.

One can use a 6q11 for the cirquit in the first post.
