Hi,
I have about 50 pounds of good pullout parts from the last few years, from mods. hate to throw them away...
Send me a SASE (padded type best, as used for cassettes, CDs, etc) and I'll send you perfectly good working capacitors and chips (mostly 4558DD or TA75558P dual op amps). Affix as many stamps as you want ounces
of parts (up to about 6?).
random sampling :
8 pin dual opamps (as above), inline dual opamps from DS1
Electrolytics 100uF 47uF, 10uF 1uF 1NP
film caps 103 104 mylar 203 greenies etc
tantalums .22uF
FETS 2SK30A
LEDs
diodes from TS9 and DS1
All parts removed VERY carefully and will work fine.

Also still have piles of sunface (fuzzface) boards for a buck each we
can also throw in.
have fun!

Self Addressed Stamped Envelope. You send that and he will send you the parts back. You're basically paying your own return postage in exchange for parts.
SASE = self addressed stamped envelope (padded style). Put your name
and address and stamps on it, and stick it into another envelope folded up, to mail it
to me.
Not sure how it would work from overseas, as you can't get US stamps overseas. Please find a buddy in the USA to get them for you, thanks!

Im from Belgium...
...What if i send you some cash to pay the shipment?
Anyway thank you !!! :D
Hey Mike,
What's the easiest way to pay you for the Sunface boards? Do you have a preference? Paypal?
That's very decent of you Mike. Sometimes we take it for granted that people from other countries can get cetain components as easily as we can.
Nice gesture, kudos! :)

only us cash or us unused stamps for the boards, other forms of payment are too much paperwork.

I think there is international SASEs,I remember sending one to England
PMed. Thanks in advance.
sorry I cant reply to PMs and really backed up on emails. Love to help you out but only have time for it if you follow above procedure exactly, thanks!
Just an FYI:
I went to the post office today to send my SASE to Mike and found out something interesting. I was going to use just a normal padded envelope and I told the lady at the counter what it was for. She suggested that I send a Priority Mail Envelope (the cardboard ones) instead because Priority Mail is not based on weight. So I paid $3.85 for as much stuff as Mike can stuff in there, which would cost probably twice that amount if you used a normal, non-Priority Mail padded envelope. I thought that was kinda weird but she assured me that it is the case. The envelopes were the same size excpet one was Priority (and cheaper and cardboard) and one wasn't. Go figure...
Mike, I put $10 in the envelope for some Sunface boards as well.
Thanks again,
Hi,
That's cool, but please one fuzz board per customer for a buck
(want to help people who make one just for themselves).
And 4 or 5 ounces is under $2, try to limit it to about that, you
won't need more than that before you get a lot of duplicate parts.
Have fun, hope you make some cool pedals with these parts!
Not a problem. Consider the rest of the $10 a donation to the cause!
:)
Thanks,
ohh im so getting in on this one! awesome man, this is great!
I also went to the Post Office today & the lady didn't tell me that! :x So I asked her to put enough postage on it for 8 oz., 2oz. over just in case. It came to $1.98 so she put $2.00 worth of postage on the SASE. I also included $1.00 cash for a Sunface board. Mike this is really nice what you are doing :) Many Thanks! :D
I actually got up early after studying all night and went to the post office as well. I got a padded envelope pre paid up to 6 oz and threw a few bucks in there. Man, I cant wait!!!!
Very cool of you Mike!!
Mike:
Just sent off my SASE to you today, but now realize I forgot to include my hand-written note with it. I didn't want to seem socially inept by just sending the SASE without a note. Oops...
BTW, I used my real name, not tommy.genes. But if you get a SASE without a note from someone in Philadelphia, that's probably me.
DOH! Now realize I forgot to include the $1 too! Oh well, the parts will be appreciated enough without the Sunface board.
Thanks,

This is probably the closest ill be able to afford having an Analogman Sunface for a while... This is so cool cause Ive wanted one for a long time..I however, Dont have any nkt 275's.. Ill have to get some special trannies for this one..I have some Transistor - NPN OC140...but those are NPN and Im sure this sunface is PNP.
Just wanted to say "thanks" publicly, Mike -- this is just a too cool thing to do. You've always been generous with advice online, and this just takes the cake.
