Title: non electrolytic = non polarised?
Post by: tomlau on August 30, 2005, 07:50:39 AM
I'm soldering my ts808 clone now and realised i only have normal Mkh foil caps where I'm supposed to have non polarised caps. Does it matter? It normally doesn't matter how you orientate non electrolytic caps so i take that as meaning non polarised? am I wrong? please say no cos i'm literally soldering right now.

you can substitute a non polarized cap for any place where it says you should have polarized. it doesnt always work the other way around, and you'd have to make sure of polarity in that case. that is to say: you're fine!
