Title: Help PNP NPN argggh
Post by: jimoen on March 22, 2006, 08:29:11 AM

Hi,
I am trying to build a PNP Dallas Rangemaster using the layout here" Dallas Rangeblaster" http://aronnelson.com/gallery/album18/RANGEBLASTER_VERO (http://aronnelson.com/gallery/album18/RANGEBLASTER_VERO)
accept I have PNP transitor and the layout is for NPN. I know to reverse the electrolitic capicitors but my question is 1/ do I also reverse the stabalising diode and 2/ do I put the anti-pop resistor towards the ground as shown in the layout or do I put it towards the 9volt as I will be changing the polarity?
thank you for your help.

Hey thanks.
How or where can I put a reverse diode to protect it, seeing as it's PNP?
Also I would like to try the tempersture stability mod, but I dont know which way to point the diode with PNP.
Anyone want to help out?
