Title: Colorsound Supaphaze
Post by: alteredsounds on March 27, 2006, 06:15:59 AM
Bought one to add to the Colorsound collection.  Will try a layout when it comes. In the meantime, anyone have any info, nothing on the net except for on muzique and one HC review from 8 years ago!

yeah I was aware of the Colorsound PhaseX but this Supaphase is housed in a wah case so the phase is adjustable by the rockers.  Just been looking but cant find any info!

Is that a 4PDT footswitch, using only two poles?  :o

Looks interesting.

Let me take a wild guess here - Small Stone style circuit, six stages instead of four.

Those round cans are what early CA3080's came in.

Interesting to hear that.  I think the pedal is '75 or '76, should be here 2morrow so I can double check.  I'll try and trace it when it arrives though.  Love the old Colorsound pedals, still missing a few though.

Hi there!

I know it is a veeeery old topic but I just got an old gray Supaphaze too and it seems like the parts had changed a bit. At least, there is one electrolytic capacitor missing. Can someone send me the schematics or at least a picture of the board where we can see the electros values (and polarities)?

Thanks!

Guillaume

Hello!

I have a Colorsound Supapahaze and it is missing a capacitor (see on the picture below).

Anyone has the schematic for it?

Or, can anyone tell me it's value? And the other 3 as well?

Thanks!

Guillaume

3094s so most probably similar to the Smallstone!

Here is a picture of the trace side.

The missing cap is indicated in red.

there is a pic of it on here....but i cant zoom in enough to see the cap value.

you might want to socket, and try different caps.....just thinking aloud.

Here's a shot from a recently sold auction on the 'bay. Looks like a bit different board and someone has monkeyed with it. Sorta hard to see anything though. However you can see the label V915 on the blue cap.
