Some of you might be able to take advantage of this offer.
they call it the WORLD'S LOWEST POWER MCU !
It includes a fast 10-bit ADC and this might be interesting
for audio/guitar applications.
I just saw this ad by accident and here is the deal: (I hope I read this right)
if you attend the free seminar
and get the free lunch, you will also receive a development kit with
software and USB programmer.
here is the link:

They have sessions all around the world:

Please note that I am not associated with this company but
I have an interest in learning more about this stuff.
So I registered for the seminar in my area.

Very cool! 8)
Thanks for posting it. :icon_biggrin:
Too bad they don't do it in Argentina... :icon_mad:
Miguel
thanks for the info!
just regestered for Wisconsin. I'm a sucker for free stuff. :icon_biggrin:

;)
I know what you mean, I saw the word "free" first, then I read the rest to
see what this was about.
Cool, I am glad you got in, some places are already full.
It would be great if a bunch of people on this forum could get the USB dev. board.
But I think that even just attending the seminar will not be
a waste of time. I am assuming that what they demo with their product can be
done with others as well.
I'll make sure to take some notes to share whatever tips & tricks I pickup
which can be useful in here.

The MSP430 is a cool series and they unquestionably ruled the roost for low power consumption. The new Atmel parts seem to have about the same consumption.
Unfortunatly nothing within a bike ride for me.

Fortunately, there's one within a bike ride from me. This could be pretty good since my current digital electronics course includes a lot of mcu programming. Thanks for the heads up!
nice, what are the odds there would be one on long island :-D.
i think im in.
shit, I forgot to go. And I had work anyway. But I forgot too :(.
how was it?
I got stuck at work. :icon_rolleyes: I had every intention of going, but with a recent 'workforce reduction' it suddenly became bad idea to sneak out for a three-hour lunch.
