Title: Matching Transistors
Post by: Hiwatt25 on September 17, 2006, 09:37:25 PM
Is there a way for the average Joe such as myself to match transistors?  I'm thinking that I'd probably need some equipment that I don't have and probably can't afford but I figured I'd ask in case there is a reasonably likely chance that I could.  In fact, I doubt that I would cause where the hell would I get an ass load of GE transistors?  I gues I'm just curious how it's done more than really doing it.

Is this Geofex you speak of the same place where I learned how to match transistors nine seconds after I pulled the site up?  ;)  If so, I am now. What can I say, I'm a little slow.

AC128 is readily available in all over the world. You can get some bitchin' good ones from ebay and remeber to search Germany, France, Britain and Bulgaria. Local radio/tv repair shops can help too. I managed to find some from a radio repair shop.
