Title: Can I split my signal (for 2 amps) by adding a 2nd out jack?
Post by: coyoteboy on September 13, 2003, 07:05:35 PM
I need to split my signal to two amplifiers, but I don't want to purchase an a/b/y box... I'm wondering if I add another output jack to the last pedal in my chain and simply butt into the existing jacks wires if I will have problems (i.e. signal loss, noise, etc.). If so, can anyone recomend a way to build a simple signal splitter?
... any help/ideas would be GREATLY appreciated!

:)

Try GEO and AMZ
The Splitter Blend at runoff groove ...
Pretty suure it takes more than to just parallel the inputs of different amps...

You should use an active splitter. I built the Super Y just for this purpose. Those mentioned above also look good. Any of these should fit your needs
