Hi I just got sheilded cable from small bear. Now I have trouble douing connection.
I connected signal and ground cable from input jack to the board.
But now I need to use shielded cable from board to output jack and I have dpdt switch in between. So how do i use shiled cable?

Use the shielded wire from the input jack to the foot switch. Then use shielded wire from the footswitch to the board in.
Only connect the shield at one end of the wire. I usually connect the ground at the input jack.

What I did is,

@ input

soldered ground wire (outer ones in shielded cables) to sleve and signal carrying wire (inside wire) to the tip.

@output
I connected  output from the board to DPDT switch with normal wire. Then used shileded cable's inside wire from dpdt to the output jack. The ground (outer wire) was conencted to sleve of out put jack from teh gnd of the board.

Is this appropiate? Or Am I doing it in wrong way?
