Post by: guyg on December 09, 2006, 07:59:52 AM
Those are the guts of a Fulltone 69, the trans are NKT-275, on one is written 96, on the other 128.. gain I suppose..
Thses are the pots values.
fuzz - 81k 9751
bisa - 81k 9751
contour - 850k 9722
volume- a500k 2009

I don't know about you but it seems like it's nothing like the Boutique fuzz on GGG... I may be wrong though, anyone can come up with a layout for this?

Well,
The board is pretty transparent which would make it real easy to see what's what and trace out the circuit.

pretty sure they're Bs not 8s. The B normally stands for linear so it's 1K for fuzz and bias and 50k for contour.

Great pics! Thanks for posting. Looks like just anothe fuzz face though. No magic there.

If you build one of these:

http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/diagrams/fuzzface_b_sc_pp.gif (http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/diagrams/fuzzface_b_sc_pp.gif)

You will find they are _very_ similar. I owned one (a '70 too) and built ones from GGG that I liked much better.

I used an NTE102 and an NTE102A(Q1) for a nice '69' sound. The transistors the output cap, and vol pot really set the tone for this circuit.

Is that a 18k resistor in there? bias resistor perhaps?
