Title: rebote 2.5 question
Post by: numpty on December 18, 2006, 12:41:47 PM
Is it supposed to make strange sounds when you change the delay control, like  pitch shifting out of  phase effect, other than that it appears to work OK (in that it echoes) but I'm not sure how well. I had expected the delay control just to increase or decrease in real time ie that the repeats would gradually become faster or slower but not scrambled until it got its act together.

you won't find an analog delay that changes in real time without pitch shifting. you are changing the sampling rate, which in turn changes pitch until it can retrack. this is similar to how an old digitech whammy pedal works.
