Was just browsing Small bear with a view to buying myself a Fasel for my crybaby, what would you recommend Red or Yellow Fasel?

I didnt get one from him but someone I know bought 2 a red and a yellow and the Yellow was very microphonic, sounded good but not very usable.

Probably just a one off

Is it possible the circuit could have been re-tuned' to better suit the different response of the inductor?
Not that I would recommend do that if I liked the sound and the Red was a better fit right off the bat.
Has a coil...but I haven't heard much about wah/microphones...I know when I move the case around they pickup 'midrange mechanical' noises, and can easily freak out if the gear is too far down or the circuit is not tuned.
Anyway I wouldn't immediately dismiss the Y as unusable without changing some circuit values to try to accomodate the altered inductor response.

come to think of it, i cant say ive ever had a "microphonic" inductor...

one time my wah was in fact very microphonic, turns out it was just the battery snap...
