Title: Can't hear any difference with your Blue Magic mid boost switch??
Post by: washburnkc70v on January 14, 2007, 02:02:41 PM
I've read in many post "I can't hear a difference with it".  This is what I though for a long time.  But, I think I finally figure the thing out.  Just in case this hasn't been mentioned before; the lower you set the drive pot the more the switch works.  When I set it at say 9:00 it makes a big difference.  Sorry, if you were expecting something more exciting in this post...

You're right. I think there is a tendency for most people to fit effects pedals with control pots - and then just crank them right up.
