Seeing as the Dynamic Overhype is 100% Tubescreamer, then no. If you are referring to Clay's handdrawn schematic, Clay traced a Grandlaff for it. Its 100% TS with a choice of clipping diodes and a diode lift option.

No, man. You're wrong. That is the most sought after, most original overdrive in the universe. In fact, people in some countries are killed for taking its name in vain. I myself have seen the glories. I've used it to cure my neighbor's sclerosis and I held a bake sale using only pastries created by its wonders.

it is a tube screamer maybe with different diodes, a cap change or two, and I think different transistors.  But the bottom line is its a tube screamer topology, and frankly a regular TS can be modded to "GradlafF" specs I'm sure.

to be fair, landgraff is BY FAR not the only person who is selling a boutique version of a tubescreamer. I'd say that fulltone has been the most successful with it though.

On harmony central reviews, there should be an extra rating for "advertising claims". It's only fair, if the user can vote on how good somethng is, why not the manufacturer?
The only thing is, the scale wd have to go way way past 11 out of 10.

Oh my god, brother, you have whitnessed the shining glory of the holy landgraff! Let me tough those eyes that still bear the reflection of the illumination promised to humanity by this almighty pedal!
It is a tube screamer. I think that if there was a nuclear war, the two things that will survive would be: cocroaches, and some random guy that clones tubescreamers...

hmmm..

i was under the impression that landgraff copied clays pedal and then clay released the schem as revenge!! seems i got the wrong end of the stick :D

was clays overdrive a modded TS also? did clay ever release the schem after he stopped making them?

I think Clay is a great guy, but the landgraff is pretty much a straight up tubescreamer with a diode switch and a good CB layout.
