Title: JD Dynacomp true bypass mod
Post by: BDuguay on April 06, 2007, 11:25:28 AM
Sorry all
I've tried searching but I can't seem to find that recent thread about modding the newer JD Dynacomps to true bypass. Does anyone remember it?
There was a picture showing some resistors added to the board and such.
Thanks,
B

Not likely. There was a thread on TB-ing a reissue Phase 90; I'm not sure if anyone actually did it. Big PITA, very hard. Note that Analogman stopped doing them (although IIRC at one time he did do this): http://www.analogman.com/rossmod.htm#dyna

Maybe it was a Phase 90. That might explain why my searching wasn't successfull :icon_redface:
Do recall that thread having this picture I'm thinking?
Thanks Ben

Brian,
Sorry so long. IIRC, Brian Wampler had some thoughts on how to do this, and there were pics. But I am not sure if anyone actually did it.
