I built one using the layout in the posted thread. I got it partly working (wah and phaser I think but it's been a while) but not completely. It's in my (embarrassingly) large pile of "I'll-get-to-that-someday" projects. If someone else is willing to build one I'd certainly be willing to be part of a collaborative debug effort.
