Title: Please help! how do I clean foam off of a PCB
Post by: chrisguitars on January 26, 2008, 06:06:48 PM
I have an old PCB that has foam imbeded into it. Is there a safe way to clean the board. I do not want to hurt the traces as it is in perfect shape. Thanks for any advice, it would be very helpful.

Non-acetone nail polish remover, from the GF.

Worked for me on a buddy's old MXR Phase 90 with caked on rotted foam.
