Title: Trying to identify some old diodes.
Post by: jpm83 on February 12, 2008, 03:31:23 PM
I just salvaged a few old diodes from old transistor radio. The diodes are quite big glass tube type and give me 0,2 volts readings in my DMM diode test. The other ones have marking 3A in cathode band and others have marking 2A.

Ge diodes. Si would not have such a low forward voltage

Thanks for answering. I was wondering what kind of voltages zener diodes would give?
