Title: Transform wiring question
Post by: Hanglow on May 19, 2008, 11:34:46 AM
Though I'd better ask this to make sure I don't blow anything up  :icon_biggrin:

I'm going to use two back to back transformers for a wee tube amp build

Here they are. Lost my camera so I had to scan it  :icon_redface: You can make out the 0-120----0-120 tabs at the top

As its 240v mains here, for the primary I connect the neutral mains wire to the furthest left 0V connection, connect together the two centre tabs, and the + mains wire to the furthest right ? tried clairtronic but their pdf for the tranny is useless

And for getting 6v at the secondary, I would connect together the  6-6 for one wire and the other 0-0 for the other?

Not strictly stompbox related.... :icon_redface:
