Title: Type of switch to switch a transistor?

Im thinking about wanting to switch between 2 different transistors- What type of switch would that be? Cant seem to get my head around it?

There's a way on Dano12's site - Beavis. He uses a 3pdt with a tranny either side, one leg to each lug, the centre lugs to the circuit.

EDIT: Yeah, its the same as what foxfire suggests.........

DPDT

One lead would be connected to both transistors directly. The other two would go to the switch poles. You would then connect the tops to the one transistor and the bottoms to the other.
