i shorted out my CS2 and apparently it nees a new diode. Smallbear is out of 1n4001 which is what the guy told me to replace it with. Is the 1n4001 gonna do the same thing?

thanks. PS...i just ordered all those clips and jacks so i hope you are still up for making some PCBs. I still have all those pedal parts....
