Title: Where to find SAD1024 / substitution (eBay not an option)?

I've just received some sad news (sad for me, anyway) that SmallBear expects no more SAD1024 BBD chips... I would buy a couple of them on eBay, however PayPal does not function here. I was hoping to find them in an online-store similar to SmallBear, that would be an ideal solution... Has anyone seen them for sale?

I think Magic Parts has them but you have to be a dealer.  I haven't been real thrilled with the way they handled my last order, though.  After I had placed the web order he called and charged me higher prices than those listed on the site for my capacitors.  Should've just canceled the whole order but I was in a bind.

Last year when I was organizing the group buy of delay ICs I suggested to the manufacturer that they reproduce the SAD1024 but they felt it wouldn't be profitable.

Guess I can scratch off that 9v Electric Mistress flanger from my build list.... bummer!!! Maybe another batch of SAD1024's will pop up somewhere soon, I'll keep on the look out.

Thanks for suggestions! Would it be of use if I (or even better, someone with much more authority) sent an email to Coolaudio, just in case?

Looks like someone will have to mod the ADA Flanger to use yet another chip  :)
