Has anyone built this with success? I can't seem to find any problems with my circuit board, yet I get no sound.

breadboarded that thing once
sounded cool, nice tubey overdrive... however lacking lots of lows, because it has no tone shaping stage, so i dropped it
Thanks Nordine! I will look at it once again.

Wow... gotta love that discrete op-amp front end. :icon_eek:
A lot of the circuitry in the OD-3, besides the distortion sections, seems to be EQ filtering. I was just thinking of trying it again. Also check out the Boss BD-2 for a dual discrete op amp pedal. :icon_cool:

WGTP , did you build this yourself? Did it work for you?

I have built the second stage of the distortion for sure, but don't remember if I built the first stage or not. Seems I had a shortage of good Jfets. It could bias differently with different transistors. Check out the ROD10. It is full of discrete op amps and uses different bias values. :icon_cool:

You might check out the original and see if I messed something up when I sliced the distortions sections out.

Is this an exact clone of the OD3 without the buffer and bypass?
IIRC it is. As close and simple as I could get. It may require some bias adjustments with the different transistors. Notice the notch filter between stages. Several things could be modified for more bass. :icon_cool:
