Title: is there any software that helps design the outside of pedals?
Post by: mikemaddux on November 18, 2008, 04:33:36 AM
anyone know of a software that maybe has the sizes of common enclosures loaded in like templates?

I was thinking that if it provided you with common sized components like switches pots etc - you could
just arrange them like how you want, add some text and print it out.

is this out there and if so is it easy to use?  any links?

The diy layout creator software in the stickies on this forum page has a few things for laying out enclosures.
Over at geofex.com there is "Paper Templates for Easy Box Drilling" for the Hammond 1590BB box. It's in the 'Tech Tips' area. You can cut it up in photoshop and do layouts that way.
