Title: Harmonic Booster
Post by: ParlorCitySound on January 08, 2009, 08:54:22 PM
Hoping someone might be able to to point me in the right direction here. I'm looking for a DIY harmonic booster/enhancer. Schematic/vero/perf...anything. I don't read to much about them or see them very frequently, but I'd love to build one. Searched the page but didn't get very far. I've always been a sucker for harmonics, pretty or otherwise. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Look for the BB&E here (http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=49860.msg379782#msg379782). There was also a "plus" version that stm did recently, but I can't seem to find it right now, or remember how it was improved.

Or the EH Attack Equalizer (http://www.diystompboxes.com/smfforum/index.php?topic=62459.0),  or the Harmonic Sweetener (http://www.montagar.com/~patj/harmswtn.gif).

Search all these things, and you will find lots of discussions with some very good explanations by Mark Hammer and Sebastian, among others.

The DOD Harmonic Enhancer ?

It's still open on my desk and I procrastinate on finishing my reverse engineering that I began some time ago...  I must admit my heart is not into that at the moment.  Hope I will have the motivation to finish that and put it back on my pedalboard.  Every time I see it on my desk I feel culpability.

I didn't find any schematics neither.

Here what Mark told me about it:
