Title: Mains transformer wiring
Post by: Andi on January 29, 2009, 06:27:57 PM
Wotcher chaps. I'm in the process of building a class T amp (from a kit). I've found a nice toroidal mains transformer of the recommended VA rating and with the right secondaries and such, but does anyone know if I should be twisting the wires for each coil to reduce interference?

Ta in advance.

About 2 turns per inch seems to be enough.
And run them close to the chassis, to be sure.
