Title: Lovetone Flanger transistor question
Post by: Henrik_J on March 24, 2009, 11:36:47 AM
Hi

Looked thu an old post about the Lovetone Flanger. In the parts list there are some transistors called p836cp. Anyone know what those are? FET's maybe?

Looking at the list, it would seem that the transistor in question is actually a J113 and the additional characters are simply there because the person drafting the list was unfamiliar with the part number and simply listed all characters on the part.

The J113 is a fairly common JFET, that DOD uses for switching on most of their pedals.  Sound plausible?

Hi

Thanks Mark! Didn't look at the first transistor on the list. J113 is also used in the Wobulator if I'm not mistaken. This clear things up a bit. Now to the schematic. Realising that I can never afford a real on I'm gonna give it a try.
