I'm working on a 4017-based sequencer project similar to the Vanishing Point, and since it's been on my breadboard, some of the counter switches have gotten out of whack due to switch bounce. right now, I have the first 4 LEDS come on for the first step of the sequence, then it sequences normally through the last four (I have the reset pin set for 8 steps).
Can anyone explain to me a way to correct the current condition? I have a debounced 555 timer setup, but I can't really see any results with the way the 4017 is set right now.
