Title: Gargletron w/LFO?
Post by: Top Top on July 18, 2009, 01:36:13 AM
Hello, I want to build Tim Escobedo's Gargletron - two things:

1. Anyone know of a PCB or Perf layout (even stripboard would do)? I searched, and found one stripboard that was unverified which I will use and just check closely if I can't find another.
2. Could one hook an LFO to the "gargle" control? Would it have to be one using an LED/LDR?

I am planning on putting this in the same box with his PWM with the EZ LFO shown in the schematic, so I am wondering if I could use that LFO to modulate the gargle.

here is the schematic of the gargletron, for reference:

and the PWM, just to show the EZ LFO:

what about replacing the 10k pot with an ldr and have the lfo control an led, similar to an easy vibe. you might look into the rock n control as well http://www.geocities.com/thetonegod/rockncontrol/rock.html (http://www.geocities.com/thetonegod/rockncontrol/rock.html)
