Title: Valvecaster Build
Post by: humptydumpty on July 27, 2009, 01:14:43 AM
Well I just finished my Valvecaster build, which is actually my second build, first was the Noisy Cricket, and I thought I'd share some pictures.
First I do have a question though, I read somewhere that a couple of the capacitors could be switched, which two were they?
Well here are my pics, I bought the enclosure drilled and painted from Pedal Parts Plus.

What do ya think?

  Looks pretty cool !
Try splicing values of capacitor into an offboard/inside bypass switch wire.
Starting with the same value as is on the board, another of the same value in series 1/2's the capacitence value.
Put that on a switch to mount the extra capacitor to, and have a bypass-jumper switch.

Thanks!

And I will have to try that, sadly this build was a gift, but the one I build for myself, I must try that.
