Title: GE 4jx1d610 datasheet or experience? I can't seem to track anything down...
Post by: SpencerPedals on July 31, 2009, 07:19:08 AM
I ran into a bunch of General Electric germanium 4jx1d610 transistors from the 60's and I know they're PNP via web searches but can't seem to hunt down a datasheet from the usual places for them.  Anyone have any info on these at all?  It would be wicked much appreciated, if so.

Test them for gain and leakage.

Never did find any info on them.  I did test them with the DCA, though.  Gain ranges were from 50's up to 120 on the high side, with most being between 50-90, none of them being high leakage.  I don't recall leakage stats offhand, but can tell you I was massively surprised that they all fell within FF guidelines easily, even getting up to the higher gain buckets.
