Title: Does anyone here do sheet metal fabrication?
Post by: MikeH on March 30, 2010, 07:23:02 PM
I seed a small simple, sheet metal chassis made.  No sides necessary, just 1 folded sheet.  Either sturdy aluminum or soft steel will work.  Anything that's sturdy yet drills reasonably easy. If anyone here can do that sort of thing, or knows of anyone here who can, please pm me!  Thanks.

What size and shape specifically?

About 11.5" wide and 7ish inches deep.  Shapewise, like a fender blackface or silverface, but without sides.

I'm not here very often but yes , I've done precision sheetmetal for over 30 years and have a small shop here at home . I stock several types of metal , aluminum , galvanized , mild cold rolled steel , brushed stainless , copper , Kynar coated steel in several colors ... lotsa choices and I would need width , length and depth OR a sketch would be even better !
