Title: adding a tone stack and fx loop
Post by: kin0 on December 02, 2010, 09:36:27 AM
Hay,

I want to build this preamp as a clean preamp for an amp that I am building right now.  http://www.till.com/articles/GuitarPreamp/ (http://www.till.com/articles/GuitarPreamp/)
First of all. Is it good? Second how can I add a volume control and where to put the tone stack? I think I'll take on of these http://www.theguitarfiles.com/guitarfile640.html (http://www.theguitarfiles.com/guitarfile640.html).

Also how can I add an fx loop (a simple one just one wihtout blending and stuff like this)?

Oh and the power supply is 16v-9v (I can use zener to regulate it) so I don't want to use higher voltages.

what about the barber ltd?

What are these things that are like pots but not (mid/presence/bass) and what is the circuit on the right side (seperate). Also does any one have a pcb or a lay out? (for the regular one will be better).

Oh and can I add a normal 3 band tone stack to it?
