Title: Anyone build the Boss DC-2??
Post by: Govmnt_Lacky on April 19, 2011, 02:15:03 PM
Has anyone DIY'd a Boss DC-2? I am trying to solicit testimonials on how they liked it or if it is worth it.

I have a layout and parts for one and would like to hear some "war stories" and maybe some "product reviews" on it.

When you add up all the time and parts, quite frankly it is smarter to buy yourself a Behringer clone of the darn thing.

The DC-2 is a VERY nice sounding chorus, without any of the seasickness associated with single-BBD circuits.

Thanks Mark. I figured I would ask as I have gone through my documentation and found this is one of the few projects that I have "laying around" and still have all of the parts on hand.

The layout is rather large (4" squared) so it wont be going into a BB. I also have two versions. One has 2 pots for controls and the other has the 4 switches like the commercial units. I am leaning towards the pot version for more control/flexability.

I am still going to ponder this build. Hoping for more inputs from others who have experience with this build.
