Hello All StompBoxes DIYers,
Would you please let me know which of the 2 stompbox finishes here you would prefer, or dislike, or... ?
You can also tell me why, if you feel to !
N°1 = "DYNA"

N°2 = "ATOMISOR

Thanks for your advice,
A+!
dyna for me...
it goes to 13... :icon_mrgreen:
+1 dyna
put the atomisor label on the bottom plate (base) - it looks cool, like something you'd see on the back of some old gear by the power inlet. me like.
Thanks deadastronaut & artifus,
So, advantage DYNA...
DYNA is the brand of the French manufacturer of the plate which goes to 13 (long time out of business).
ATOMISOR was a French manufacturer of spraying systems for medical purposes, from the 60-70's (probably out of business too).
Anymore advice, then ?
In the current format: Dyna for sure.
Atomiser could be a winner, but it needs a different knob. Run with the blue theme of the label, bringing the separate items together in one design.
Dyna also. Love the plate.
I'd say they're both sweet, and you should do both. If I had to choose, though, I'd say Dyna. Still, I really like the ATOMISOR plate. :D
Dyna for sure.
But I have to say I am not too fond of the On/Off switch plate??
Good - Thanks to all for your participation and advice !
Finally the project evolved in 2 versions, and the boxes needed to be a bit bigger :

that plate is upside down!
maybe it's a friendly warning as in 'pushing this button is a no-no' :icon_biggrin:

Yes ! I just felt funny to put that FSW plate upside down, as an additional oddity...

Those are really great! Remind me of 60's test equipment. Big clunky switches and bolted on labels.
Thanks Processaurus,
You're right : the plates comes from 50-60's audio or industrial equipments... I collected them before the units were dismantled in the early 80's. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to coolect them all at the time. I hope I will have the time and the occasion to find others !
The white one "Melodium" is intended to be a fuzz with a switchable scoop filter, the black one is finished and is a kind of "Santana-sounding" overdrive booster, with 2 gain presets.
A+!
simply fantastic, you're a professional. I wanted to do something. congratulations
WOW! Those would look cool on any pedalboard!
Thank you, guys !
I had the time to an internal view of the ATOMISOR :

It works well with my old Fenders and ES-335, giving me that "violin-like-Santana" sound imitation...
