Just finished my first compressor - an OS build. Sounds great, especially after I put a 1nf cap across the volume pot for more treble - but I feel the 'squish' is a little excessive when I'm using the neck pickup of my Strat, specifically on the wound strings. So I'm wondering, would reducing the amount of bass at the pedal's input solve this problem? And is there any particular way I should go about doing so.
Never mind, figured it out. I lowered the cap before the diode.
