Hi everybody.
I'm looking to build a fuzz pedal from a prefab PCB. I played through a Big Muff for a while and didn't much care for the smoothness of it. I'd like to build something that is buzzy and has some grit. I quite like the way the Bigfoot FX "Spaghetti Western pedal sounds (http://www.bigfootfx.com/), and from the clips I've seen on YouTube the Companion Fuzz and Fuzzrite both sound similarly velcro-y and crunchy. General Guitar Gadgets has boards for the latter two, but I wanted to see if you guys had any additional suggestions for similar PCBs?
:icon_cool: Thanks.
+1 for Fuzzrite. Results depend a bit on transistor choice (low hFE vintage transistors - around 150 - give a more manageable result)
In the Big Muff you can reduce the 500pF feedback caps, which gives more roughness and high end.
