Title: Pocket POD Flanger 1 Bug
Post by: nexekho on August 31, 2011, 06:58:37 PM
I was messing around with my POD today and found a weird bug with Flanger 1.  You need to be linked over USB to get access to all of the dials to do this.  Set the effect type to something else and fiddle with a dial so it flushes the settings for Flanger 1.  Then change to Flanger 1.  IN THIS ORDER ONLY: Set the depth to 50%, the feedback to 0% (both centred) the PreDelay to 100% and the Speed to 5Hz.  You'll get some weird oscillating atonal noise.  Flicking the dials in other orders doesn't always seem to do it, and saving as a preset loses the effect.

(I'm using a fuzz box with no cab to get some fuzzy noise and then dialing in the effect - it starts at about 0:13)

Odd or what?
