I don't think I've said it enough, but THANK YOU to the people that are on this forum. I'm part of a few other forums and wow, I feel like things are out of control there. It just makes me appreciate the site that we have and the people that are here.
THANKS!!!!!!
Thanks should be to you for having this site.
THANKS!!!
I agree with Casper, I've been here for almost 10 years and I have learned so much. Thank you Aron! :icon_biggrin:
Yes Thank you aron for making this place what it is ;D
While I would love to take credit for having a bunch of nice guys around here, the fact is that the nice guys are you!
It is an amazing forum phenomena. I frequent A LOT of forums covering all kinds of interests, and man, there is so much stuff that goes on those that sometimes makes me have little hope for society (that and Youtube video comments). BUT this place, has such a good vibe all the time. There are the occasional threads that can get a little testy, but that's to be expected when this many people from all walks of life share their thoughts and opinions, but overall all of you guys should give yourselves a pat on the back for being all around great forumites! And Aron, you should give yourself an extra pat for hosting such a great resource! This place functions like a true community!
I'm the opposite, I don't hang out on a lot of forums and when I check them out, I'm shocked at the crap that goes on. What is wrong with people? This place is about stompboxes, not the size of your ****. If the rest of the world... Aron for President and you know who for the cabinet secretaries. ;)
+1 for thread-hijack and conversion into praise Aron thread.
This stuff is hard. I'd probably have quit and be a grand or two deep in pedals by now if this site hadn't been inspiring me and helping me find cool stuff to build. You made this possible, Aron. Thank you.
Thanks for running a great forum Aron, and thanks everyone else. I'll agree this is the most civil forum I participate in it's always a pleasure to visit.
No. Thank you and everyone that contributes there time and knowlege to help and teach people how to mod or build pedal on there own. I wouldnt know a thing about modding or building pedal if it wasnt for this forum. I'v learn so much from this forum and hope to learn more thru the years to come. Thank you :)
I would like to express my thanks as well, to Aron for running what is undoubtedly the best DIY effects building forum out there, and to all forum members for the invaluable help I've recieved here. I have succesfully built 4 stompboxes and repaired a commercial pedal so far, and obviously I would never have been able to do that without the help of the forum.
What I love about DIYSB is the extreme helpfulness of the members, their unshakeable patience with repeated noob questions and the general teach-a-man-to-fish approach. Also, as soggybag pointed out, the atmosphere in the forum is so friendly that it's always a pleasure to visit, even when you're not looking for help, which I think accounts for the fact that there is always someone around willing to offer assistance.

Well, you know... Musicians, eh? :icon_rolleyes:
people sometimes say the word 'community' in a very off hand way, which means nothing really...
but this really is a global 'community' ........there's no BS, or air of superiority from members which would only hinder the willing to learn......... its great for noobs and pro's ...
and it's a laugh sometimes too...(important) ;)
big thanks aron: and everyone, this is my (non-religious) church!..\m/ :icon_twisted: \m/
I would like to Echo (Stomp Box Pun) Aron's thoughts, thanks to all of the folks here. Truly is a community!
I also believe that this forum is the way it is due to Aron's hard work, a big thanks has to go to him!!!!
Love this place.
You got to love a forum where the tar and feathers only comes out when types of capacitors comes up for debate.
Thanks Aron and thanks to all members for being good sports.
R-E-S-P-E-C-T (the secret ingredient ).
Thank you, Aron. Apart from the fact that I've made friends here, I also go to bed a lot less stooopid at night :icon_mrgreen:.
As an aside, I don't think the Ludwig Phase II clone would have ever materialized anywhere else. That's the fact Jack!
Excellent. An extremely well run forum, I approve.
Well done.
Well done to everyone that contributes to the helpfulness and tone of the place!
+1
This place is like ordering your favourite dish in your favourite restaurant and it tastes just like you remember it from your childhood. Kudos to maintaining the same interface, same vibe, pretty much the same structure, and kudos to all the old-timers who stck around, and the newcomers who bought into the pre-existing vibe.
Feels like my neighbourhood. I like that.
i wanna say thank you to all of the folks here, i've learned so much...just the tip of the iceberg.
aron, if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't be here, so we need to give it up to you, bud.
if this forum wasn't here, many things would never have been resurrected, like the ludwig phase II and so so many others.
it's a testament to humanity right here that the world has alot of good people in it, not just a bunch of immature 12 year olds with mental erectile dysfunctions.
thanks to all, from the bottom of my heart...namaste
- "Thank you"
- "No, thank you!"
- "No, no, thank YOU!"
- "Look, the one giving thanks is me, so shut up!!"
- "Buddy, what´s your problem? I said thank you first!"
(Virtual fight follows, and everybody ends up hating each other)

Almost all I know about this crazy, addictive, rewarding, never ending, eyesight destroying, relationship wrecking, budget busting activity I learned here from all of you. You decide if that´s a compliment or not... ;D
Aron, you definitely deserve the thanks, man, but you're right: everyone here, from the gurus to the neophytes, with shared generosity and sense of comraderie, make this forum what it is. Cheers to you all! :-*
