Hello!
Really need to build a multi Power Supply for my pedalboard like the AMZ power supply (http://www.muzique.com/images2/power7.gif), anyone got a vero layout or schematic for something similar WITH all the values on it?
......and instead of tacking on multiple +9v off from the single regulator, could I instead run multiple -9v from the IC1 (MAX1044???).
Bumpy bump bump :icon_mrgreen:
My suggestion is that you find a 9-18V PSU that you don't need, cut it open and use some LMxxx DC regulators to get the voltages you want...
It's a tight fit, but i squeezed a LM7809 into a PSU for 12v, and got 9v regulated out.. Also added a pink LED for the mojo :icon_wink:

from memory you can draw bugger all current from a max1044... so maybe not a good idea.
Check the spyder PS at GEO. Built it using a sackfull of small 9V transformers (rated for 9V, turned out to have enough overvoltage at load after rectification, churns out regulated 9VDC like a charm), two regulators per transformer output so I have isolated groups of 2. Anything you want to add-on (12V - use an appropriate transformer and regulator/sag use an adjustable regulator/positive ground neg regulator on isolated group - no need for charge pumps etc) should be straight forward. Has the added bonus of isolated groups to prevent ground loops.
edit: spelling, and overvoltage
