What are the boards and how are they wired?

The boards are a Ts808 with standard burr brown and ge diodes. the second is a naga viper clone with an mpsa18. they are in series and wired as shown.

I'm not familiar with the naga viper. Is it normally positive ground rewired to be negative ground?

If not, you have a wiring mistake and ground (if not other connections as well) doesn't run where you think it does. I say ground because that's the most frequent wiring item to cause hum.

Does it do this on battery as opposed to a power adapter?
