Title: Can any POG or POG2 features be hacked into the Micro-POG?
Post by: Mark Hammer on August 09, 2013, 09:37:24 AM
I traded a guy a few pedals for his Micro-POG, and while I'm happy to use it as is, and not especially needing a full-blown POG 2, I was wondering if there were any of the features of a full POG that could be easily and safely hacked into a MIcro.  I have the schematic for the original POG, but no technical information on the Micro.  I figured the Micro would bear the same relation to the full POG that, say, the Holiest Grail bears to the Holy Grail, and what many older Yamaha and Casio keyboards bore to their cheaper simpler cousins; i.e., same internal guts but more features tapped = bigger price tag.

Am I barking up the wrong tree here?

Unlikely unless you want to write some new code. ;) It would be easier starting from stratch with a couple FV-1's and analog filters.
