Hi
Many jFets are becoming obsolete as TO-92. :icon_frown:
I am curious what SMT jFets people here are using for Fetzer valve circuits, as described by Runoffgroove:
http://www.runoffgroove.com/fetzervalve.html
I suppose many jFets can be used but what smt jFets are best suited for fetzer valves.
I am particularly interested in replacing the 2N5457
Best Regards

The J201 and others are readily available in both SMD and TO-92, though some of the TO-92 stuff is of questionable provenance and origin. I have good stock of most popular numbers at fair prices:

and it's all Fairchild or other major makes from the original factory packaging. No need to go for a hot-air workstation yet.

Thanks smallbear!
I suppose I will be able to use TO92 for some time yet.
I am interested since I am working on version 2 of my jFet spring reverb project:
