Forgive me if I shouldn't be posting here, but I am getting desperate. Does anybody have any tips for finding the values of a capacitor besides "googling" it. I am trying to find info on a motherboard capacitor listed as "68P_0402_50V8J" on my laptop's schematic. I searched numerous datasheet websites and googled it many times with no luck. Any advice would be sincerely appreciated.
What do you need to know about it? The part number suggests its a 68pf cap in an SMD 0402 package rated at 50V, possibly with a +/-5% tolerance.
Thanks, IvIark! I am a beginner and had no idea what could be determined by that part number. I really appreciate the help.
No problem. If you're replacing it I hope you have better eyes than me, I can't even see 0402 components! :D
oh yea, I have to use those Optiviser magnifiers since I am pushing 60.
thanks again for the help!
