Title: Getting Started with Digital Pedals
Post by: fastbreak78 on March 31, 2014, 10:20:12 PM
I'm just getting started with digital pedals. I'm going to be building an arduino based pedal with step by step instruction from another site.  I have no experience in digital guitar pedals. I'm pretty gung-ho about effects pedals right now. I've been laying out some designs for future pedals. Anyway, I have a couple of questions about using ICs for guitar pedals. First off, what's a good chip to start off with? Are there special audio chips, or will just about any old microchip do? And, what interface do you use to program these chips?
