Title: New chorus from ValveWizard
Post by: knutolai on January 23, 2015, 03:17:32 PM
Just thought I'd make people aware of MerlinB's new chorus pedal:

To my knowledge its new on the site at least. Sounds real sweet to my ears

My apologies if I'm breaking any custom by introducing this before MelrinB  :P

I noticed that too and posted over at madbean but then I became convinced that it wasn't actually new and I just didn't remember it before so I'm not sure. I think the schematic says 2012 on it or something.

I built one back a ways, got a magnus modulus pcb, butchered it, and it's somewhere between the two. I put a cap selector stomp switch in the LFO to take it higher into the ring mod range.  Stock, I believe it goes to 50hz, per Merlin, which really is a good bit of ring mod.
