Hey all,
So I'm trying to find a place online where I could order a few short runs of PCBs. I have the files for them, but I'm looking to get about 10-15 of a few boards made up. I know there's places out there that will do those short runs, and are reasonably priced, but I don't know the names of them.
Anyone have any recommendations?
Thanks
OSH Park is one of the more popular as they are very reasonably priced for very high quality boards.

Looks interesting alright! I'm still shopping around, and it'll be a week or two before I order anyway. Cheers for that
I just ran a 2.4x3.0 inch board through ^their system and 50 2 layer boards was over 500.00. Is that correct? I can get 50 for 177.00 USD for the first run then subsequent runs for 117.00 @ pcbfabrication.com which someone recommended to me. What am I missing? Based on the processing results at oshpark it didn't look like it made a mistake on the dimensions hence this post.
I've used this service before. Cheaper than OSH Park.

You can price multiple sources at once here

thanks for the suggestions everyone! That PCB shopper one looks to be very handy, I just need to check reviews of the cheaper ones.

OSH park is aimed more at small runs, so the price for a handful of boards is a good deal, but it's not meant to translate into large orders. I believe they have an option for larger quantities though. Something like a $1 per square inch instead of $5.
OSH park is $1.67 per square inch for short runs in multiples of 3 (i.e. for 3 boards you pay $5 per square inch so it works out to $5/3 per square inch)
For the medium run option - minimum of 150 square inches - it is $1 per square inch.
Not the cheapest but the quality is good and customer service is good and the web interface is pretty straight forward.
Andrew.
anyone know of any manufacturers who do expressPCB files? I know futurelec does and I was happy with the quality I received but it was a long wait
Everything from Futurelec is a long wait! ::)
Not exactly the speed demons of the part supplier business!

ExpressPCB is very limited in printed service. If you can fast the appropriate gerber files from it, your choices open up, otherwise, I suggest a different layout program (EAGLE!)

I just used www.elecrow.com , great price and very good service..
I use Elecrow too.. Love them.

If I have it right (it's late)-- Elecrow for 50 pieces... (even colored phenolic) would be around $80 with shipping. Use FedEx shipping (not DHL) if possible. I find return time is about a week, and shipping another week.

The Crow also has "small batch" service of 5 or 10 boards inexpensively.

ExpressPCB no problem. I can convert ExpressPCB files to Gerber RS-274X format. If someone is interested PM me.
