Title: U-Boat Schmoo Boat
Post by: bifbangpow on November 15, 2017, 04:52:56 PM
Got a U-Boat here that isn't getting any sound when the fx are on.
ICIs all read 1-5 except for the corner peg which reads 8.8 on all of them.  So that looks good.  I get clean sound when the FX is bypassed. LEDs light up perfectly. And I'm using a printed circuit board so no etching problems....  I feel like I'm trapped in a cold joint hell.  Help me!!!

We expect +4.5V on most, and a Zero on the other corner.

I agree with Paul, double check the voltages on your op-amps. Also, try taking the voltages with the ICs removed as well to make sure it isn't just a bad IC. Voltage at an empty socket can help trace down cold solder joints if they're there.

I think I have one of these boards floating around sonewhere, I might try to find it if your problem persists.
